Zing, it sounds very much that these victims have been targeted because you and your friends managed to escape.
If these scum are caught, they should never be allowed to live in society ever again
update on this:.
just been to the police station with my friends where we were asked individually to identify aknife.

as all jw's and awakened ex-jw's know, the very existence of the religion is dependent on people's belief that the "holy trinity" of the wtbts, the ccojw, and the governing body (aka the organization) were personally selected by god/christ.. 1) mr. rutherford claimed that this divine choosing occurred circa 1919, and that all anointed members were personally chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.
2) in 2013 this long-held, "profound scriptural truth" was discarded by apostates in brooklyn (the present-day governing body) when they personally decided that only gb members were chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.

@SoundofTruth - Questions are not unfair - answers which conceal truths are unfair, and that is what the org does with its literature.
@ Nitty Gritty - Par. 2 says this - "It is vital that we recognize the faithful slave. Our spiritual health and our relationship with God depend on this channel."
When God wanted people to be clearly identified as His representatives, they were! The Bible gives ample warnings about "wolves in sheep's clothing" and how to spot them;
(Deuteronomy 18:21, 22) However, you may say in your heart: “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The prophet spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him.’
Christians were instructed to test the teachings they were being given, (1 John 4:1) but as we both know, as an active JW, cannot question or disagree with anything the literature says - due to fear of the consequences.
When I was a zealous JW no one could challenge or weaken my faith, because I was a JW and had "the truth."
An offer to you both: PM me and I'll share some important Bible questions with you - and I'd like to hear your answers - questions which no JW can raise without being dragged into the elders' room and accused of being spiritually weak or apostate.
Interestingly, when I asked a trolley elder one of these questions, his reply was, "I don't want to argue with you. You can write to our Branch with any questions."
He couldn't/wouldn't answer the question in front of the young M.S. next to him. Fear of the truth!

Question: Apart from these men's (conflicting) claims, is there a shred of Biblical evidence to support either of these claims and the timing, and to justify your "faith" in this self-appointed hierarchy?
Evidence can be sent via PM if desired. Start 2019 with an honest and open heart.
here's one of mine .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyotvgpn0ru .
how about you?.
All-time classic!
does anyone remember the video the jw came out with that showed the mom getting a phone call from her disfellowshipped daughter?
she is tempted to answer but doesn't .
she wants to be faithful to jehovah.
@ scary21 - "My mom still believed the rule from 1974-1980 that you could talk to family members, just not about spiritual things."
That rule applies to JW's who are still living at home, with a disfellowshipped husband, wife, or child.
the trial transcript of nunez v. watchtower (426 pages) has been made available from scaars which is the acronym for a new a 501(c)(4) lobbying corporation, sexual child abuse - advocates for reform and safety (scaars).. .
the scaars corporation was formed october 3, 2018 by barbara anderson and former elder, roger bentley and his wife, karin.
on the home page of the scaars website, scaars.org, you will find information that explains the goal of the movement - scaars: "changing laws - changing lives.".
Thanks for this Barbara & Joe.
And I'll bet the WTBTS & CCoJW are optimistic about 2019 - not! Pain upon pain for the cult. :)
some years ago watchtower wrote that some arrangement in the organisation, they probably made wrong.
some months ago tony morris said that faithful slave is not perfect and could have done some arrangements organisation wrong.
do you think they meant the two witness rule, the disfellowshipping arrangement or anything else?
The "faithful slave masters" know that the genie is out of the bottle, so excuses are put out to do a bit of damage limitation.
JW minions should scripturally examine why they accept/believe the org's dogma of confession to elders? (JW's good - Catholics bad!)
JW's - go and read Matthew 18:15-17 yet again - for the umpteenth time.
Did Jesus say you you were to confess to any elders? Can you see it now, or are the scales still on the eyes?

2017 - Memorial Partakers Worldwide: 19,521. LOL!
w51 1/15 p. 61 par. 17 - "Seeing that we are nearing our complete exodus from this world into the new world, we suggest that all active Kingdom publishers engage in helping the more than half a million attenders out into the field service this coming week end of March 23, 1951. Thus you will aid them in having part in the final witness before the accomplished end of this old world takes place."
Yup, the end was so close 67 years ago that the org urged every visitor to the Memorial to go out on field service. Changed days, eh?

something weird and scary happened to us last nihgt.
we had a few friends over for the weekend.
we love to go hiking and long walks wherever and whenever we can.
Wow! I hope you reported this to the police. Looks like you've got homicidal psychopaths in your area who need to be caught very soon. I wish you many enjoyable walks with your friends in the future - before "dark o'clock."
On a lighter note, here's something I received recently from a JW:
I was walking home last night and decided to take a short-cut through the cemetery. Three girls walked up to me and explained that they were scared to walk past the cemetery at night, so I agreed to let them walk along with me. I told them, "I know how you feel - I used to get freaked out too when I was alive."
Never seen anyone run so fast!
